The CERAC Association is a Catalonian centre which specialises in the rehabilitation of people with autism.

This association is the owner of the cerac day centre, created in 1976. It is a non profit-making organisation that was declared of public utility in 1996 and whose main purpose is the care and treatment of people with autism spectrum disorders. It is responsible for providing the following services:

Diagnosis: Led by an experienced multidisciplinary team, it has the resources to carry out, if necessary, prolonged behavioural observations, 24 hours a day.

Advice: It gives expert advice to families of sufferers and to the institutions and professionals who care for individuals with ASD.

Outpatient Treatment: Provides educational, psychological and psychiatric treatments for sufferers of ASD and other childhood-onset diseases.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation: This deals with aspects of personal autonomy such as affective relationships, communication, cognition and social integration by means of individualized programmes.

The cerac Association is:

  • An organisation which forms part of the Autisme la Garriga Project
  • A founding member of the Autism-Catalonia Federation
  • Member of the Autism-Spain Confederation
