The Autisme la Garriga project aims to provide life-long comprehensive care to satisfy the needs of people affected by autism as well as offering the support their families need.
Born in 1975 thanks to the initiative of a group of parents who, together with a team of professionals, designed a project based on the development of the diagnosis of autism and its treatment, the creation of life-long services for people with autism and based on the participation of families.
In 1976 we founded the first service and after that, we developed the rest of the services bearing in mind the principle of comprehensive care and catering for individual needs as the following table shows:
